Kerastase

I got Kerastase Shampoo and Conditioner together with a magazine subscription a good couple of months ago and I have to say that I was amazed with the product and the result. I have always gone for hairdresser products like KMS, Redken etc. but now want to keep on using Kerastase because of the amazing result and texture it gave my hair. I recently highlighted it so will now try the Kerastaste range that is protecting and maintaining colored hair. I promise to keep you up to date on the result but I have no doubt in my mind it wont be good!

Carine Roitfeld is…

…stepping down from her post as Editor at Vogue Paris after 10 years!! News is that she is leaving her post already in January and will focus on personal projects. Her replacement has yet not been announced so we will have to wait a bit longer to see who will be taking over the crown of Vogue Paris!

Looking for a good stock filler?

Santa is soon here and I really hope you have the Christmas gifts all done because I sure haven’t! But if you need some tips on those stocking fillers here are some good options. Scented candles is always a safe one, go for Jo Malone if you want quality but there are so many to choose from that are valuable. Philosophy for the bathroom, Molton Brown for the soar winter lips, Nails inc for Christmas Eve and last a special perfume for the night out from Byredo. I think that should do it for the girl that want a bit of luxury waiting for her at the fire place. Now – I’m off for some more xmas shopping!

And some more Peacock inspiration

Couldn’t help it but pull together a nice selection of accessories and clothes you can get if you don’t want the Peacock colors in your face. There are a lot of nice bits out there and it sure gives that sparkle you need, even if it’s a ring from asos.com or a pair of dazzling Erickson Beamon earrings or more plain ones from Isharya. Take your LBD and top up with the Charlotte Olympia shoes and the Erickson Beamon earrings and you are good to rock the New Years eve night!

MAC Peacocky Collection

I’m speechless! Just when you have indulged yourself in MAC Tartan Collection they do it again. This time it’s with the lavish Peacocky Collection that will hit the stores in January 2011. I love the strong intense colors from the Peacock feathers, the combination is so beautiful with that purple-brown-green-turquoise intense heaven of colors.

Arrogance or elegance? The showy display, the undeniably sexual spectacle, the iridescent irreverence…it’s awe-inspiring. We fetishize the exotic peacock as a symbol of extreme beauty, an act of elaborate nature, raging against everything simplistic. Peacocky fans out in a foray of intense colour for Lips and Eyes, exotic and sophisticated with a touch of ’30s F. Scott Fitzgerald glamour and mesmerizing metallic sheen. New Kissable Lipcolour combines full flash with creamy comfort. It’s molten, with elastomer technology that imparts a velvety, aerated feel without sacrificing shine. Light as a feather. Mega Metal Shadow gleams like chrome, with light-reflecting properties – yet creamy, crease-resistant, vitamin-fortified flexibility. Dramatic doesn’t even begin to describe the girl who knows she’s Peacocky.

Dior Avenue Montaigne Collection

We have full on winter and already now you can get a sneak peek of what to come for Spring Summer 2011 . Dior is launching a gray shade of nail polish called Gris Montaigne. The entire make up collection is very much based of gray scale with a touch of pink. It’s not really giving me any Spring or Summer feeling vibes though, but worth having a look when it hits the stores. Gray and pink has always been a strong combination!

Miss Palermo

As you know I’m a fan of Olivia Palermo (as many others) and think she pulls off what she is wearing almost every time. She goes classy, plain and uses great accessories to top up the outfit. If you want to copy her style it’s not that difficult and you don’t need to spend a fortune. She doesn’t look very happy at the Thomas Sabo Collection Presentation but like her cardigan and skirt from Topshop, top and shoes Charlotte Olympia. The look in the middle is my favorite, love the combination of tuxedo jacket with lace, not entirely sure of her Stubbs & Wootton shoes though. Last she is wearing Mango for the S/S 2011 collection, I adore that shop so that simply can’t go wrong!
