MAC does it again! This time it’s their cosmetic Flighty collection which consists of 15 different creamy eye shadows and colorful mascaras to go with it. MAC is certainly special in promoting their collections and really find ways of putting the make up in the right light and style to make you want to run to the shop and buy it all! The Flighty collection is released in the US on the 5th of May so be patience you have to wait a bit longer.
MAC is surely getting more and more interesting with their printed makeup. They did it with the tartan tale and are now doing it again with their Jeanius Collection with, yes, Jeans inspiration. They are all limited edition so if you love them then I think you should grab them. I believe only one of the lipsticks colors will be permanent. Out in the shops in March 2011 (International) and March 3d 2011 in North America.
I’m speechless! Just when you have indulged yourself in MAC Tartan Collection they do it again. This time it’s with the lavish Peacocky Collection that will hit the stores in January 2011. I love the strong intense colors from the Peacock feathers, the combination is so beautiful with that purple-brown-green-turquoise intense heaven of colors.
Arrogance or elegance? The showy display, the undeniably sexual spectacle, the iridescent irreverence…it’s awe-inspiring. We fetishize the exotic peacock as a symbol of extreme beauty, an act of elaborate nature, raging against everything simplistic. Peacocky fans out in a foray of intense colour for Lips and Eyes, exotic and sophisticated with a touch of ’30s F. Scott Fitzgerald glamour and mesmerizing metallic sheen. New Kissable Lipcolour combines full flash with creamy comfort. It’s molten, with elastomer technology that imparts a velvety, aerated feel without sacrificing shine. Light as a feather. Mega Metal Shadow gleams like chrome, with light-reflecting properties – yet creamy, crease-resistant, vitamin-fortified flexibility. Dramatic doesn’t even begin to describe the girl who knows she’s Peacocky.
For those who know me, they also know I love tartan patterns and guess my jaw dropped when I first spotted MAC’s new “A tartan tale” make up collection. I adore the eye shadows and the make up bags, mainly because of the pattern and the colours. The rest of the make up is not as appealing to me but I will def head over to the store and take a look at it all and dream away to the Scottish Highlands!
It’s full on Autumn here in London and to be honest it’s pretty gloomy and grey. I need to boost my skin with something and came over these two products from MAC that I am going to test. The strobe cream is a highlighter packed with green tea and should give me the nice glow on my cheek bones (hopefully?!). The other one is Care Blends Essential Oil which is available in Lavender + Sweet Orange and Grapefruit + Chamomile. I have high expectations on this one as it’s a versatile oil that act as a luminizer, aroma therapy and a moisturizer all in one – can you ask for more? Will update once tested!
